In 2018, we made a thing.

A couple years before that, the idea for the thing was optioned and the work began to turn the thing into a bigger thing. But then that sort of fizzled out. So then my creative partners Andrew May, Kate Torgovnick May, and myself decided we’d take matters into our own hands and just make the damn thing.

The result is my favorite thing I’ve ever made. Because we just went ahead and did it the way we wanted, with the people we wanted to do it with. To me, that’s the best. But we also got recognized at some pretty great film festivals, so that’s cool too.
