Wawa Hoagiefest 2020 2022

Unless you grew up in the tristate, it’s hard to understand the cult following that Wawa generates (I’ve seen literal fist fights over Wawa vs. Sheetz ).

So when we got the call to pitch the Hoagiefest campaign, I was over the moon. Even more so when we found out we won the business… In February, 2020. Fortunately, when lockdown hit, we had already decided on an animated route and were able to continue our work.

Two months later, we finished the spots. and they called off the promotion. Then called it back on! Then off. Then back on again! Then they found out there weren’t enough hoagie rolls, and that put the end to that.
